Having the ability to successfully multi-task is significant. There have been many times which I was able to put this skill into practice, including the following examples:

Multi-Facility Oversight

I was responsible for the oversight of multiple camp facilities from 2013-2017. The properties included 6 camps on 4 camping properties. Some of these tasks included:

  • Coordinating tasks
  • Developing & prioritizing capital improvement projects between properties
  • Coordinating program material needs between properties, including periodic transport of materials.

Summer Camp

Each summer, hundreds of young adults were able to have a summer camp experience. Program offerings included a mix of day camp and resident camp programs between 5 different properties throughout southern New Jersey.

My responsibilities included the coordination of program materials purchasing, equipment needs, leadership needs, and staffing.

Additional responsibilities included reporting of data and trends across all properties.

Multiple Responsibilities

While overseeing the facilities and camping operations, I was also responsible to simultaneously support various other committees and volunteers within the organization, including:

  • Program Cabinet & VP Program
  • Camping Committee & VP Camping
  • Properties Committee & VP Properties
  • Order of the Arrow Lodge (Scouting’s National Honor Society)
  • Activities Committee
  • Camping Revenue Actives
  • Campership Committee
  • Shooting Sports Committee
  • High Adventure Treks (Philmont / National Jamboree)
  • Eagle Career Recognition Dinner
